Random Postings from Yours Truly

I looked out this morning and the sun was gone. Turned on some music to start my day.

An idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all.

I love Lita Ford. I love her voice. I love her style. I love everything about Lita Ford. But what do I love most ?

Listen to the lyrics.

Had A Dream….

I had a dream that millions of wolf spiders hatched in my bedroom. They were all over the floor and walls. In a panic, I went to get a an industrial-sized can of hairspray, hoping to stop them from reaching the ceiling. When I returned, they had disappeared; retreating in to all the nooks, crannies, and crevices. Lurking. Waiting.

Everytime i hear Copacabana, i picture dancing minions, life is good

This album just gets better and better the more I listen to it.

Eastern Veil
Distance: 2,600 light years away
The Eastern Veil (NGC 6992) is a supernova remnant that is part of a larger complex that includes the Western Veil (NGC 6960). It is estimated that the supernova explosion occured about 10,000 years ago, before the age of recorded history. During a star’s life, nuclear fusion produces elements such as oxygen, silicon, carbon, and iron. These elements are expelled into space during supernova explosions, later to become part of other stars, planets, and lifeforms like ourselves.

At the end of the five years, if the remains were not claimed, the bones were thrown into the boneyard, (sometimes known as ‘bone pile’) by the cemetery authorities. This was a practice that was popular in Europe all the way up to the late Middle Ages…
